The questions couples ask us most.

How much does Indian street food wedding catering cost?
Our wedding catering starts from £15 per head. The final figure depends on your guest numbers, the menu you choose and your venue location. Send us your date and rough numbers and we will come back with a tailored quote.
What is your minimum guest number?
We cater weddings from 50 guests upwards. If your numbers are below that, get in touch anyway and we will see what we can do.
What service styles do you offer?
A few, and they can be combined across the day. The street food station, where guests come up and we build each roll or bowl in front of them. Roaming canape service, where the team brings trays round to your guests. Canapes set out on boards and plated to order. And a food drop off where the venue and the timings allow it. Tell us how the day runs and we will suggest what fits around it.
Do you serve canapes?
Yes. Canapes suit the drinks reception, while photos are being taken and guests are standing with a glass in one hand. We can bring them round on trays or set them out on boards and plate them to order. They work alongside the street food station later in the day, or on their own if that is all you need.
How far in advance should we book?
The earlier the better so we can secure your date, as dates go quickly. If you are working to a short timeline, we can take a booking up to 3 days before, subject to availability.
Do you cater mehndi nights and pre wedding events?
Yes. Mehndi nights, sangeets and day two catering are a regular part of what we do, and we can cover more than one day of the same wedding.
What do you need from our venue?
An outdoor space to set up the station, and access to a 13A plug socket. We cook outdoors, so the station needs to go somewhere like a car park, a courtyard, grounds or under cover outside. If there is no power available, we can hire in a generator at an additional cost.
What if our venue is indoors?
We cook outdoors, so we would need an outdoor space near the venue for the station. The exception is a venue with a kitchen we can use, in which case we can work from there. If neither is possible, a food drop off may be the answer instead. It depends on the venue, the timings and the numbers, so get in touch and we will talk it through.
How long does service take for 150 guests?
We work to a 2 hour service window for 150 guests. Everything is cooked fresh at your venue during that window, so guests are served as it comes off the station.
Are you insured and hygiene rated?
Yes. We hold £10m public liability insurance and a 5 star food hygiene rating, and we are happy to send both over to your venue if they need them on file.
Can you cater for vegetarian, vegan and allergy requirements?
Yes. There are vegetarian options on every menu and we cater for vegan and allergy requirements. Let us know the numbers and the requirements when you book so we can plan the station around them.
Do you travel outside Leicestershire?
Yes. We are based in Leicester and cover Derby, Nottingham, Birmingham, Sheffield, Wolverhampton and the wider East and West Midlands. We also travel nationwide, so tell us where you are and we will let you know.
Is the food cooked at our venue?
Everything is cooked fresh at your venue on the day. Nothing arrives pre made in trays, which is why the live station tends to become part of the event rather than just the food.
